Doi Suthep-Pui National Park (Only 30 minutes)

Doi Suthep-Pui’s highlights are not only Wat Phra That Doi Suthep and Bhubing Palace but also its
richness of trees and wildlife. On the way to the peak of the mountain, you will find attractions such as
Huay Kaew Waterfall, Monthathan Waterfall, Suan Song Saen, Doi Pui Hmong Tribal Village, Doi Pui
Peak, Khun Chang Khian, and more.

Chiang Mai Zoo (Only 10 minutes)

Chiang Mai Zoo is Chiang Mai and northern Thailand ‘s center of study, research, conservation and
tourism of wildlife. It presents more than 200 kinds of Asian and African animals. The highlight is the
pandas, Chuang Chuang and Lin Hui, the goodwill ambassadors from China. The zoo has 133-meter long
tunnel aquarium housing both saltwater, freshwater fishes, and sea animals from various terrains, such
as northern mountain ranges, Khong River, Amazon River Basin, plain lands in mangrove forest, etc. At
6:00-9:00 pm, you will find the night safari waiting for you to explore. Do not miss Nakhon Phing Bird
Park, which will amaze you with more than 132 species of birds.，

Wat Suan Dok (Only 5 minutes)

Wat Suan Dok is located in the north of Chiang Mai city. It is renowned for housing a large number of
white pagodas. The name “Wat Suan Dok” derives from its location which originally was the flower
(Phayom) garden of the northern ruler. The Lanka-styled golden pagoda, as tall as 48 meters, houses the
relic of the Buddha. In the temple area, there is Old Lanna Royal Family Burial Site where, as per Princess
Dararasmi’s request in the past, the ashes of the rulers of Chiang Mai and members of the royal family
of the north were brought and kept.

Huay Kaew Waterfall (Only 15 minutes)

Huay Kaew Waterfall is the closest waterfall to Chiang Mai city. It is a small-sized waterfall at
approximately 10-metres height with streams flowing throughout the year. The scenery is beautiful and
shady with variety of trees and flowers. It is one of the most popular relaxing vacation spots for local

Wualai Walking Street

Wualai is a famous old silverware street in Chiang Mai where silversmiths have been gathering for
generations. Every Saturday at 4:00 pm -10:00 pm, the street is turned to a walking street. Apart from
the silverware such as household goods, accessories and home decorative items, which are the
highlights of the area, you can also enjoy shopping many other kinds of goods.

Kad Suan Kaew is a Chiang Mai’s famous shopping complex interconnecting with Lotus Hotel Pang Suan

Warorot Market or Kad Luang, located beside Ping River, is the largest market in Chiang Mai with the
history of more than 100 years. Both locals and travellers enjoy shopping at Kad Luang not only for
every-day products but also famous souvenirs, especially local specialities, such as Sai Ua (northern Thai
sausage), Naem (pork sausage), Nam Prik Num (green chilli dip), pork rind, products from fruits and
